At Madison Computer Works, we repair and upgrade most brands of computers, at our service center and on-site, regardless of where they were purchased. We will make an on-site service call to a business or private individual for a nominal trip charge.


We repair and upgrade almost all brands of computers, including mass-merchandise computers sold at chain stores (ie- Hewlett Packard/Compaq, Packard-Bell, e-machines, and others), mail order and on-line brands (ie- Dell, Gateway, Alienware, etc.), Custom-built white box and clone machines, and any computer we sold (ie- Frontier, Acer, Apple, Inteva, KDS, Magitronic, Samsung, Hyundai, Leading Edge). At MCW, we repair them all quickly, affordably, and professionally.

Common computer repairs include virus/spyware removal, replacement of damaged parts, debugging errors in applications, operating system fixes/reinstalls/upgrades, Internet access issues, networking issues, and upgrades of all kinds. Computers checked into our service center receive our standard 25-point check over and clean up. This includes blowing out the dust, deleting temporary Internet files, defragmenting, running critical updates, and more. Many other repair centers charge you separately for each of these services that we include standardly. We don't charge ala carte prices for every service we perform. Flat rate service is generally far more expensive. When you add up the ala carte pricing for individual services, your bill will usually exceed $350. At MCW, you pay only for the time spent on the entire job, saving you hundreds of dollars over "flat rate" service centers. Don't be fooled by "flat rate" service departments and their appearance of lower pricing. At Madison Computer Works, we regularly save customers hundreds of dollars on their repair bills.


Madison Computer Works is also well known for our debugging and repair of networks . Our experienced technicians will come on-site and help resolve your networking issues. We support Microsoft 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2011 servers. This includes Microsoft Exchange, RDS/Terminal services, Standard, Enterprise, and SBS Servers. At MCW, we also specialize in the repair of printers and plotters. We are a factory authorized repair center for most models of Hewlett Packard, Canon, and Panasonic printers. Our diagnostic bench fee is $99 which we apply to the repair if you have us go ahead with it. The regular computer repair rate is $99 per hour. Higher-end network server rates are $125 per hour. We do have an RSVP service program that offers businesses reduced rates on labor, trip charges, help desk support, new computers, ultra-fast response times, and much more.
